sheriff stands in the Desert, he lights a cigarette.
Camera zooms out. as he flicks the
cigarette to the ground it lights a gas trail to a fire, and a car goes up in wild flames.
Man wakes up
in his car, as the Sweltering Desert sun rises. He calmly inspects his watch, then reaches down to sip his cold coffee.
As a woman walks towards a small town bank, Man pulls a Luchador mask down over his face. He sneaks up behind her as she unlocks the bank doors. He robs the bank, then exits with the money and with her as a hostage.
NOW IN A CAR: THE MAN TAKES OFF HIS MASK AND SMILES AT the WOMAN. she turns to him with a warm smile, Leaning in closer, she passionately presses her lips against his. the desert rushes by outside the car Until They pull into a motel.
MOtel
They unpack all the money
onto their bed and celebrate
in each other’s arms. at Sunrise
they flee. The housekeeper sees the
handsome tip he left and is in shock.
on the run
ON their way out they see the tv screen with their faces plastered on them.
Jump cut to: photo of woman
pinned to the sheriff’s car visor. IT IS THE SAME WOMAN ROBBING THE BANK - younger and smiling.
She is his daughter.
the frazzled bank teller lets sheriff into the bank and presses play on the secURIty footage.
Sheriff watches in dismay as he sees his daughter help rob the bank.
sheriff observes the aftermath
Sheriff walks over to cork board. He pulls down, “missing person flyer” with daughter on it.
He turns it over and sees, “Meet here Dad, come alone” with an address scribbled.
THE Sheriff replaces HIS daughter’s missing photo with a wanted sign.

CLIMAX
Sheriff pulls up to the address. Daughter looks up, wearing A wedding dress in the arms of her man.
BACK TO THE OPENING SHOTS --
sheriff stands in the Desert, he lights a cigarette.
Camera zooms out. as he flicks the
cigarette to the ground it lights a gas trail to a fire, and a car goes up in wild flames.
reveal
We cut to the first frame of the video, but from a different vantage point.
Daughter blows a kiss to her father saying goodbye. he nods back as if to say take care of my girl. The trail of her wedding dress gets smaller and smaller as they disappear into the desert.
they’re gone
As the rest of the officers pull up, ashes and burnt car parts are all that remain. Deputy puts his arms around the Sheriff in condolences.
The sheriff walks away as he removes his badge.
As he gets into his car, his daughter has left a stack of cash for him. he takes one last look at the young Girl’s photo on his visor.
